So like many, I've been watching all the happenings going on in the Middle East. I've been amazed by the courage of so many people. I do think it's cool that Facebook has allowed persons to organize, and Twitter has allowed people to communicate with the outside world to give real time reports of exactly what is going on. Technology has helped, but it took the will of the people of Tunisia, Egypt, and now Libya, and many other countries to physically rise up against these oppresive Governments. No one knows what the Middle East is going to look like, but if the people have anything to do with it, it's going to be a Goverment that represents the people of those respective countries. It probably won't be perfect, and people won't always disagree how best to handle issues, but maybe, just maybe, issues will be resolved through majority opinion, and not guns and tanks.
