When Google introduced the Nexus, I really got excited! This made so much sense to me. I mean, who better to design a Smartphone than the company who is building an awesome Operating System to put on a phone already? I grabbed the AT&T version as soon as it was available. I even had it engraved with my name and my favorite bible verse. And I must say that from that moment until now, this phone has been my best smart phone experience by far! There were shortcomings . . . . So many wonderful apps quickly filled up the Rom and that made management of said apps almost a daily chore. But with Google quickly updating the Nexus One first on its new iterations of its OS, and the quality build that HTC is known for, let's just say I have enjoyed it very much. Regardless of whether or not the Nexus One was a commercial success, it was certainly a success when in this guy's hands. But recently, the power button started failing. It didn't fail all at once, but it was getting to the point that just to turn the device on took several attempts. Last week, it finally got to the point to where it would no longer function at all. To get the device to turn on meant finding a power source, or hoping that someone would call me soon. So it's time to move on. I have some decisions to make! Motorola Atrix or HTC Thunderbolt?
Nexus One, you have been an awesome companion to me for many months, but it's time to move on. I'll miss you! You are to this point the most incredible mobile device I have ever known!
