This Weekend's project

OK, so this thing isn't exactly new to me. I actually purchased this on eBay back in 2008 for my daughter. She is legally blind, and couldn't drive but was needing a way to get around campus and to and from her job. I thought this electric Bike/scooter/moped might be a good solution. It wasn't! At least not for her! Driving it in traffic made her nervous. It ended up sitting outside her apartment door for the majority of it's life. This week I moved her to a new apartment closer to her employment. That left this poor, filthy, very bad neglected pile of metal and plastic without a spot to die in. Home it came with me!

After a wash job, air in the tires, a very thorough wipe-down, some adjustment of the brakes, and a fresh charge, she is almost as good as new! There is one issue I haven't been able to totally solve however. The switch to insert the key is not aligning exactly as it should. Turning the key usually requires some jiggling to get it to line up exactly right. I can't see exactly what it is, but that is certainly the next thing I am going to tackle. I'm confident it's not very serious however.

So what am I going to do with her? I'm not sure . . . Right now, I'm scooter poor! I have my baby, which is a Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive and a Vento 150 that I drop on the back of our Motor home to dingy us around without having to break camp. For now this beauty is tuned and ready for action! That was my goal. More than likely, I'm going to add a For Sale sign to her and see where it goes. Some features of this particular model are included below.

About Me

I'm a middle aged guy who finds much pleasure in today's technology. When I find a gem, or figure something out, I put it here in this site. When time allows, I enjoy camping with my wife. I love the outdoors and live in an area where I get to experience all 4 seasons in all their glory. I always keep a camera handy, so expect to see those adventures documented here as well.
