So the last time I did this, I was sitting on Froyo 2.2, and followed the instructions to utilize Gingerbreak. This time, I had upgraded to 2.3 Gingerbread, which overwrote the root. My advice: Follow these directions on Atrix forums and enjoy! The whole process took me about six minutes. I have no gotchas to warn you about, because the whole process was simple!
Carter is 9 months old - Chloe is almost 4 years old.
